    As I said, there is no law in Oregon saying that vacation pay has to be paid out at termination.

    There have been court cases where the court has determined that such time is considered wages and has to be paid.

    I don't know what more can be said on the subject.

    what I think I have read, Employers firing an employee do NOT have to pay for accumulated time off or vacation time accrued?

    I am sorry I had to post this to confirm what I think I have read, Employers firing an employee do NOT have to pay for accumulated time off or vacation time accrued?

    My wife knows its coming and is thinking about giving her notice but from her past experience working there its meant certain dismissal that day .
