  • Wrongful Suspension?

Oregon - A week ago, I was suspended for something that happened that wasn't my fault (secrecy form, can't discuss). During the interview, I was never told why I was suspended or how long it would be for, nor did I sign any contract/discpline contract. I was asked to turn in my keys and leave. Now, just last Wednesday I received a call from my employer stating that I could return to work. Nothing has been disclosed to me about the situation only that the DM didn't want any "hard feelings" between us. Can anyone lend me some advice on following up with this situation?

Nothing illegal transpired, and you have no legal recourse. It sounds as if a complaint was made; they investigated; you were found not to be at fault.

I'm not quite sure what it is you are looking for. Can you clarify?
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
