  • Unpaid Bonus Question Oregon

I am a management employee and have a yearly salary plus 2% bonus on net income. However I do not have any contract regarding the bonus. I have not received a bonus for the year of 2009 even though our business made money. Going back and looking at P&L's, I figure my employer owes me just over $3000.00 in unpaid bonus income.
My question is without a contract do I have any chance at ever seeing this money? If so is there some sort of legal action I need to make to insure this is paid to me?

    Thank you.

Probably not. You can contact a local attorney versed in employment/contract law, but I wouldn't be terribly optimistic. This is a matter of contract law, not wage and hour law.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
