    2. Legally, as long as your total pay for the week averages to at least minimum wage, there is no violation of the state or federal wage and hour law.

    3. Yes.

    Note that "hours worked" is the denominator of the fraction described in the calculation per #2 above. It doesn't mean that the employer has to pay an additional for the compensable hours.

    what is the laws Oregon

    Ok here we go. First if I am required to take online training in order to advance dose my employer have to pay for the time if i do it at home? Next is if I am working flat rate and my employer requires me to do a courtesy inspection on each car I work on that takes aprox 20 mins are they required to pay me fro the time,or is there any set rules? last is if I am required to attend a sefty meeting once a week with fellow employes do I get paid for that time?
