  • Advice please on termination pay Oregon

My brother recently put in a two week notice at his work. They then told him to go home. It is now two days later and he has not been paid. Any advice?

They accepted his resignation immediately. Since he resigned with at least 48 hours' notice, his final pay was due on his last day of work. He can file a claim with the state Dept. of Labor, but it is very likely that he will receive a check before they can get to working the claim. What does the employer say about when he will receive his check?
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
