  • Question about Process North Carolina

I was fired for misconduct and the job conditions were hostile and my supervisor told me to do it or i would be fired. So i filed the unemployment claim and the company had untill the 19th to respond.

They have not responded yet and i called the Unemployment office today and they stated that there is a "Docket number" assigned to it but it has not been assigned to an adjucator.

So what happens now since they have not responded and its past the deadline?

You'll have to wait & see what the unemployment ins. office decides.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Leo Buscaglia
