Can An Employer In New York State Set Their Payroll Clock 15 Minutes Ahead Of Real Time And Not Violate State Or Federal Labor Laws?

  • #2
Please do not capitalize each word; it makes your post very hard to read.

All either the state or Federal goverment cares about is whether the employee got paid for all the time they worked. Neither government cares whether the time clock was set at the correct time or not; only if an employee gets paid for the same amount of time they worked.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
