  • Statute of Limitations to file Law Suit??

Does anyone know how long you have to file a lawsuit for an un-just/wrongful termination from your place of employment? Please help!!

  • #2
There is more than one kind of wrongful termination and the length of time you have to file a lawsuit, or even if you can file a lawsuit without getting a right to sue letter, depends on what kind of wrongful termination it is.

You will have to provide more information before we can answer.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
