    Is there any way to receive unemployment if you are fired for being over your hours in this case 80 even if you have had a doctors note for 90% of the hours missed and have been with the company for over a year?

    The only thing you can do is apply - it will be up to the state to make the decision whether to grant UI benefits or not.

        No, there is not. It's going to be situation specific.
