sorry if this topic has been covered

i was wondering on lunch break laws for local truck drivers, i work 12 hr days 5a-5p 48hr weeks. my length of drive from pointe A to pointe B is less then 4 miles counting driving driving inside the plants.
i have searched why we dont get overtime found the reason why they dont have to pay overtime but nothing on lunch breaks.
i pull a grain trailer and told from other company drivers in the same area of work luch basicaly consist of eating in your truck. ( think about this..corn dust and bean dust floating and seatlling on you your lunch whill your waiting to load or unload.)
if anyone knows of anything on this it would be real helpfull or a link to this subject
