  • Leave of Absence? Illinois

    In the past my company would give leave after 3 days of calling off. Not automatic, you still had to apply. The 3 days would then go toward leave. Now, if you go on leave they will use your earned time off such as personal days or vacation time first. All of which counts in the 90 total days given in leave time.
    Question is, Can they make you use the earned time then count it toward the 90 days?

    Answer is, yes they may, because there is no law that says they can't.
