    Thanks Beth however, what if we were to just forget the fine judgment those great folks at UC made. Does anyone think, based on the limited information I have presented regaurding my situation, that I could win a lawsuit against my former employer?

        I agree with panther.
        The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.

          Well thanks, your opinions save me time and money and are valued. I do hope I dont come across as a jerk for seeking damages. I was angry at the level of dishonesty my employer took to save money. This was my first and only job. I considered them first priority. It is an eye opener to witness the conduct a "Fortune 500" will take to ruin your reputation to save some money. I learned mostly no one will take your back when you are in need. I don't think I will put my employer before every one and any thing, as I did in the past. I did note that all talk / little action people do loops around all action / little talk people. Oh well, enough of that soap boxx, Happy new year!!
