  • Job Sharing California

I've been looking for information on job sharing in California. This would be as a request from employees and does not qualify under EDD's work share program. Are there any specific rules as far as pay, exempt status, benefits, etc.? Would the employees have to be treated as they work the same job (project manager) and work on the same projects and each not given their own projects? Is there a benefit to offering as a job share rather than just 2 part time positions?

Here is an article on job sharing that might help you to some extent.

You can probably do a google search & get information on job sharing or maybe another responder will come by with some information for you.
