  • Background checks - Who do you use? California

I am in CA and newly hired in HR for a company. The company does not do background checks on employees 100 employees in 5 states. I would like to start doing checks and was curious what firms other HR professions use. I have the proper documentation and authorization forms but who do you all like to use and for what reasons...instant web based or others and what do you check for? I was looking at infocubic and another I used at a previous company etall. I was looking at ss#, criminal, driving, and education. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you

I went with(deleted) which was referred to me by a shrm member. They are very good. The set up was easy, the reports are great, and the customer service is very good. The prices are fair and inline with other providers. The only con I can think of is they do not offer a package for discount but do have the best a la carte menu I have seen. Cheers
