    I was terminated from my position, because they did away with my position, was paid current, still had 5 hours paid vacation. I live in Colorado, do I get paid for that time.

    I read read page 31 in the labor law handbook and on page 31, it states unless you have an agreement w/employer. In my company handbook, it states, that it is @ the discretion of the Employer whether they are going to reimburse for unused vacation time. Can they do that?

    Yes, you are entitled to any accrued (earned) but unused vacation with your final check. See here under "Definition of wages".
