In Colorado I have a contract with an employer that states he is required to give 30 days written notice prior to termination. Two days after I received written notice, I was told not to return to work and that I would not be compensated for the work that I should have been entitled to. What is my recourse?

We cannot interpret a document we haven't read. The majority of documents regarding terms of employment do not rise to the level of a valid, enforceable contract. Have it reviewed by an attorney.
