  • Notice given in CO, told to leave after one week

I've given notice due to moving out of state. Told this Friday was my last day and will be paid through that, even though I gave two week's notice thorugh 11/4. Does CO law require payment through my notice time?

No, and neither does the law of any other state.

It's POSSIBLE that you might be entitled to unemployment for the remaining week. Some states allow for that; I don't know offhand if CO is one of them. Can't hurt to try.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.

I didn't think so from what I've found. But I will apply for unemployment for that week, since my notice did state I'd work through the two weeks with a specific end date and now was told two days before my now last day see ya. Thanks.
