Our company has always allowed relatives to work together.. in fact has always encouraged it. The head of our corporate stores wife is the leading marketer for our company. Families working together is what has built our business.
My husband was transferred from one location due to a promotion to the location I am working at and he has worked with me now for 2 years.
Also working at our location is my brother. We also have numerous other couples that work at our location plus many of their family members.
As of Jan. 1 I can no longer work at the location and neither can my brother because my husband is a member of mgmt.
All other family members can continue to work together.
My question is can the company turn around after all this time and say that family can no longer work together when they are the ones that moved my husband to the location I was working at? And if so can they say it only applies to some and not all?
