  • 2nd week of work and no scheduled hours?

is there a minimum amount of hours that an employer in California has to schedule a 15 1/2 year old newly hired employee. My daughter worked 20 hours the first week of her new job but is not scheduled to work at all next week. is there a law that requires the employer to schedule their employees or otherwise terminate them?
    Please respond. Thank you

No there is not. Has she asked why she has not been scheduled? Maybe they overestimated their immediate needs.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
