  • Unpaid for first/last job of the day

My husband works for a private utilities company in Florida, today his supervisor informed all crew members that they would no longer be paid for driving time to his first job of the day and home from the last job of the day, even though the company sends him up to 3 hours away from home. Can they do this?

He has to be paid for all the time he is at work and all the driving from job site to job site.

He does not have to be paid for driving from home to the first job of the day, or from the last job of the day home.
The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
