    BONUS ----CALIFORNIA
I worked for this co and was laid off " At will Employment "
During the 10 years that I worked for this Co. I received an Bonus every year. In October of 2004 I was laid off. The VP stated for lack of work, The VP and I discussed the Bonus for 2004 and he stated that I would get the Bonus during the Christmas Holidays > I did not received the bonus and in February of 2005 I asked the same VP and he answered that the Bonus are not warranty and I was not employed by the CO. Everyone in the CO. received an Bonus in 2004. Since then I wrote 2 letters requesting the bonus and the same answer No Bonus ! what are my option ! to collect this Bonus

File an unpaid wage claim with the CA Dept of Labor, or file suit in court. You need to be able to documenet your entitlement to the bonus, or a pro rata portion of it. I also suggest speaking with an employment law attorney as most provide free consultation, and calling the CA Dept of Labor to discuss the issue and how to address this in an unpaid wage bonus.
