    Hi, I would like to know if in florida is an obligation for the employer to paid a legal holiday am talking about memorial day, first the owner of the company said not to go on Monday 31 and then he said he is not going to pay. Thank you for your help

    "Legal" holidays apply only to public sector (government) employees and in the banking industry which is regulated by the federal government. Your employer has no legal obligation to provide you with any paid holidays. It's entirely his option.
