  • Florida - Paid incorrect hours on base pay and check not being cut for two weeks

My employer paid me for 18 hours instead of the 31 hours I had worked. The payroll person agreed that this was a mistake on their part however they could not cut me a check for the missing 13 hours; and, I would have to wait for my next bi-weekly pay to receive it. This is my actual pay not commissions and not overtime. Is this legal?

    Florida - Missing Pay

It is legal because Federal and Florida law doesn't have any requirement to the contrary.
