    Can an employer who has a Paid Time off policy dictate how much can be used for vacation and how much can be used for sick leave? I was under the impression that when you clump vacation, sick, and personal days into paid time off that it is up to the employee to decide how to use it.

    They can determine how much is used for sick and vacation. If you were to leave their employ, they do not need to pay you for the unused time that may only be used for sick.
