I recently accepted a new position outside my current industry. I'd like to give two weeks notice but since I'm in sales, I'll be let go immediately. Is my employer required to pay me for those two weeks?

I'm trying to decide if giving notice is beneficial to me at all..

Thanks in advance for the response....this board is a great tool.

No, your employer does not have to pay you for additional hours beyond the time you are let go.
