  • Back Pay from Insurance

can you answer this? today is 4/12/05 since 12/01/04 i canceled my insurance with my employer up to 1/28/05 money was coming out of my check for the insurance. I just received a letter from the insurance company stating i was not covered from 12/01/04. So i went to my employer asking whats up where did that money go? I was told to call our insurance agent. she told me yes it is true i would get rembursed from the insurance company so i told my boss he said ok had the secretery call the agent back to see if it's true she said yes i asked when do i get my money back nobody seems to give me a straight answer weel they do they say when we get the check from the insurance company... Now should i demand my money ASAP or should I claim i want intrest. Can you help with this??

    Insurance

You can demand your money but I doubt it will make them move faster or pay you interest. There is no incentive for them to move faster and there is no requirement to pay interest.
