Hi! I Just Need To Know If An Employee That Gets Paid Per Hour, And Works 6 Or 7 Hours Per Day,can Take A Breaktime Of 30 Minutes And If So, The Employer Has To Pay Him For These 30 Minutes Or The Employee Is Suposed To Punch Out And 30 Minutes Later Comeback And Punch In Again. If The Break Is To Lunch, breakfast Or Dinner, Is The Same? This Is In Miami Florida. Thanks A Lot!!!

    Breaks in Florida

Florida employers do not need to provide breaks or meal periods to their employees with one exception...Florida requires that employers provide minors with a meal period.
