  • Info wanted for Washington

Before my brother-in-law moved to Idaho he worked in Lacey Wa. He worked in a fast food restraurant were he was doing manager work, but his boss didn't want to pay him for it. Also she hired so many works that ever worker had 4 hrs a day three days a week. She then blamed him a stealing subs, but had no proof. She then took it out of his tips, So he reported her to the Better Business Beauea. Then she ended up firing him. Can she have him to managers work without paying him? Can she hire a crazy amount of workers? Can she take his tips without proof of him stealing? Can she have her daugther who is in Highschool and 16 be a manager?

    Legal Behavior

All of the scenarios you mention are legal except one...that is the unauthorized deduction. You can read about Washington's law on the matter at: http://www.lni.wa.gov/WorkplaceRight...ct/default.asp
