Changing the benefits package is legal. Whether or not it is enforceable in your state without notification is something only a NY attorney, who has read all the applicable documentation, can say.

BTW, if I had a dollar for every time an employee complained that I had not notified him of some policy or benefit or change thereto, and I was able to reach into a drawer and pull out an acknowledgement, signed by the employee, of the policy, benefit or change, I could retire.

Change in Benefits Package New York

When I joined the company the job pack said that an employee with over six years of employment will be entitled for 4 weeks of vacation. last year , the boss changed the Benefits Package without telling anybody or consulting with the employees , and now it saying that an employee with over six years of employment will get only 15 days - is this legal?
    Thanks,
