  • Wage Claim Judgement California

I have a judgement in my favor from a previous employer dated 7-8-08 that was turned over to the state franchise tax board in 8-8-08 for collection. Its been a year now and I have not heard a word or received any money. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I can contact??? Called DLSE and they say it is still active but thats all the info they give. Can I get it back from franchise tax board and attempt to collect myself? Thanks.

That's what I'd do. In fact, I'm not even sure you need to "get it back", if you have a copy.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.

Has anyone else went through this? Does anyone have any tips on collecting on a judgement on a former employer?

        Wage claim collection

I suggest getting an attorney. That is what I had to do. He will take 20% but it's worth it. They can collect quick and have alot more they can do to collect.
