    Yes, they absolutely can. There is absolutely nothing in the law of any state that gives either exempt or non-exempt employees the right to choose what hours they want to work.

    I understand that in Virginia they can tell us how much mandatory OT is required; however, my question is can they tell us WHEN that OT has to be worked (i.e. 10 hours with 4 of those 10 hours having to be worked from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every Saturday or Sunday).
