    Thank you, im glad you see the problem here. The person from the labor department thought i was crazy because i wasn't sure what i was. She kept saying "if your were an independent contractor you would know" very rude.

      I don't know why you were directed to the BBB. That was an incorrect referral. The BBB has nothing to do with any kind of wage issue and they cannot tell you whether you are an IC or an employee. They are a consumer agency only.
      The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding and enforceable contract or CBA says otherwise. If it does, then the terms of the contract or CBA apply.
