  • Question about driving company vehicles Texas

    Hello all..
I have a question about companies that require you to drive a company-issued vehicle.

There has been some debate lately going on about when we get into our company-issued vehicle (which is labeled with the name of the company) about whether or not that constitutes the start of our workday.. or does the workday start when we arrive at our first job site? (we visit multiple job sites during a workday period.)

The other question i have is this... My company pays us for hours worked.. however.. my company has a two-hour minimum at each job site. So we may "Bill" 8 hours in a day, but have actually worked less than that.
Do they have to pay us for hours worked, or pay us on hours billed? A co-worker mentioned something about this policy violated the Sarbanes-Oxley act.

    any help would be appreciated..

    thanks
