  • Question about Tip Pooling Missouri

I currently work at a sushi and asian cuisine restaurant. I pay a 3.5% tip out to the sushi chefs. They are visible to the customers and do have some contact with them - I would say less than 5% of the customers, usually only those sitting at the sushi bar. They are not regularly tipped by the costumers themselves, but by the tip out we give them. Is this a legal tipping pool?

If you have any information regarding this, it would be much appreciated.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Leo Buscaglia

Likely legal, since they are not directly tipped.
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
