  • Can employer require travel to different location?

I am the General manager of a sandwich shop of which was recently purchased by a new owner who also owns another shop across town. This new owner is telling me that I must require my old and new employees to work both locations. I can see the requiring all new employees which they are told upon hiring. However can the owner require this of old employees, of which were not hired with that stipulation?

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Leo Buscaglia
