    1.) Yes.

    2.) Not enough information to say. Are you exempt or non-exempt? Will you be going straight there from home, or will you be going to your usual location first?
    3.) If you are not reimbursed, you may be able to claim part of the costs on your taxes, but the government will not send you a check to reimburse you.

    Partial relocation - New Jersey

    My company rececently told me that I have to report to a disaster recovery site that will add an additional 50 miles to my trip (each way). They also stated that I have to go there once a week (No option was given to me).

    1. Is this legal?
    2. Are they required to reimurse me for my additional travel expenses?
    3. Since my part time travel is over 50 miles, and I am required to go there, do I get any relief from the government?
