  • Anyone send wage complaint to Attorney General from labor dept(MI)? Michigan

Has anyone sent their claims to the Attorney General from the Labor dept. I still have not been paid since February. Labor department did their full investigation - employer has to pay me my almost 1 months of past wages plus interest. Employer's attorney sent in a letter stating they would pay in monthly installments . Ridiculous!! Why should I have to wait further to get paid...Labor dept. stated only other thing to do is forward to Attorney General or take the payment schedule(which will take months to pay back!). What should I do? Has anyone ever had to take a complaint this far? Will they fine them additionally, etc? This I would like to see happen.

    Thanks for your help.
