  • Can my husband sue for wrongful termination? Michigan

my husband was just recently fired from a well know business in niles michigan. the manager that told him he was fired said the reason he was fired was due to the fact that he put the store manager between a rock and a hard place with a customer. all he was told to do was tighten bolts on a brush hog and grab a pto shaft. well he got the bolts as tight as he could without an air wrench but it wasnt tight enough, and then he was asked to grab a pto shaft and what he didnt know was that the pto shaft was faulty. these tasks were shop tasks and he was not trained for the shop department. now knowing this information could my husband sue his former employer for wrongful termination???

Sorry, no wrongful/illegal termination here. He could have been terminated at any time for any reason except reasons prohibited by law (ie age, religion, gender) or unless he had a bona fide employment contract or CBA to the contrary.

It could be unfair but it wasn't illegal.
