  • California- annual increase not paid 9 months California

I have not been paid a contracted annual merit increase that was due April 1st 2007. I have asked my manager every 2 weeks for it and have been told they are working on it. What legal recourse do I have in this situation? It may not seem a lot but over 9 months it is now over $1000.00 that I have not been paid....

If this is a contractual obligation, take the contract to a local attorney for review and find out what the contract provides as your recourse. The DLSE does not normally get involved in contractual issues such as this.
