  • Exempt Salary Georgia

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before. I searched and wasn't able to find the answer.

I know that an exempt employee must make a minimum of $455/week to keep their status. Is this before or after taxes? I have an employee that makes $660/week gross. He is paying back a loan to the company at $110/week and now has a garnishment for $90.65/week. His gross after these deductions is now $459.35. Am I correct in thinking that he still qualifies as exempt based on this dollar amount?

    Thank you!
