  • charging an employee without consent Kentucky

I'm a truck driver , I delivered a load for the my company ,it was late , well an hour before arrival they called and told me if my load is late that I would be charged 500.00 well the load was already late ,needless to say they are taking out of my check 50.00 a week , I'm a company driver not owner operator ,or lease to own , and I didn't sign any agreement that if I was late on a load that I would pay it can they do this

What is your compensation method? Hourly or cents-per-mile or something else? Are they talking about reducing your GROSS pay (before taxes) or making a deduction from your NET pay (after taxes)? And, have they done it yet?
I don't respond to Private Messages unless the moderator specifically refers you to me for that purpose. Thank you.
