  • Hidden video cameras Virginia

I am a bartender and I was recently fired from my job for being caught on hidden video for not charging a customer for a drink. Not only is this NOT TRUE but I was unaware there was even a camera in my workplace but the owner won't show me the video. Is this sort of "hidden surveillance" legal in Virginia, especially without my knowledge or any type of posted warning? And would my employer have to show me the video or not?

Agree, Va. has no law against the use of survelliance cameras.
