    Absolutely. My boss wanted to pay me for 2 hours that I was late to work. I corrected him, and told him to take it from my vacation bank, since I wasn't there. I don't think he was expecting that!

    I believe, though, that it PAYS to be honest.

      Since the deduction is for something the employee benefitted from, the deduction may go below minimum wage. http://www.dllr.state.md.us/labor/wa...deductions.htm
