  • NJ Commission Plan being changed New Jersey

Hi! I am in a sales enviroment where everyone has the SAME commission plan. I was recently told that MY commission plan would be changing, b/c I was too successful and making too much money. Is this legal? If they change everyone's comp plan, I can see that... but they admitted they were singling me out b/c of my success and it was a financial based decision. Can they do this? Need help!

It isn't illegal. It may be unfair but the law doesn't prohibit this.
I post with the full knowledge and support of my employer, though the opinions rendered are my own and not necessarily representative of their position. In other words, I'm a free agent.

Thank you... Is it ethical? Is there nothing I can do? I dont feel I should be penalized b/c I am successful.

Whether it is ethical is a grey area. There isn't anything you can do besides look for another employer.
