    As a union member, I think this would fall under a term and condition of employment, therefore must be bargained for. In other words, if charging you for phone minutes was not a product of any collective bargaining, but rather was unilaterally imposed by management, then I think you have a strong argument that the charges are unenforceable. Moreover, while I believe the employer is within its legal rights to treat managers and bargaining unit members differently, it might be a PR nightmare should this news become public.

    I would immediately file a grievance and contact the Union.
