  • Offering direct deposit selectively in Arizona and North Carolina

We currently offer direct deposit to all our companies' full time, year round employees. Because of the expense and other reasons, we have not extended this benefit to seasonal employees, who work only 8 weekends for us.
One of our managers wishes to offer this benefit to a couple of his seasonal full time workers. I believe there are restrictions on offering such benefits as health insurance selectively, but do those apply to something like direct deposit? Can we offer it to only a small number of key employees or must we offer it to all employees in a certain category.?
