In the state of Louisiana, after 90 days employment, if you are terminated from a job are they required to provide a letter of separation or "pink slip" if you request one?

Per my reference, La. is not a state that requires a "termination letter."

I've been away from Louisiana for a while so it could have changed, but yes LA used to required a termination form that went to the state and the pink copy went to the employee. The purpose was to expedite filing of UI.

If you have not received one and they won't provide, you can start a claim with UI and they will follow up with the employer for you to get the information. Other than for purposes of filing with UI, there's no requirement to provide you with a termination letter.
