  • Does the First Circuit Court of Appeals hear oral arguments in Puerto Rico? Ifso, when

Yes. The First Circuit of Appeals sits in Puerto Rico to hear oral arguments twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. The panel of circuit judges usually sits in Puerto Rico during the first week in March and the first week in November. These dates are subject to change and should be confirmed in advance. Also, during this time, application for admittance to practice in the First Circuit Court of Appeals are accepted before the arguments commence each morning.
