  • being subpeona in NE Nebraska

I have been given a subpeona to apear in court and testify on behalf of one of my foster kids. My employer is stating that I will not be paid for time off. Is this right...if you are paid for jury duty, then why not when you are subpeona by the state of NE to show up? Any insight links to the specific law....etc...would be great...
