  • Bankruptcy in PA Pennsylvania

I have to go bankrupt. I have land (1 acre). I was told that I have to put it in trust for someone before I go bankrupt or else I can loose it. If this is true, is there a time frame involved. Do I have to put it in trust for someone then not go bankrupt for another 3 months?

    Thank you

"Generally," you can't do this within a year of filing bankruptcy (putting an asset where creditors can't get it).

You need to talk to a bankruptcy attorney & let him know what you want to do & before filing bankruptcy.
